| The Alpha course is a practical introduction to the Christian Faith and has had enormous impact worldwide. This 10-week team effort provides many opportunities for ministry. |
| Cursillo |
| Cursillo is a Spanish word for a short course, in this case a short course in Christian discipleship. It is a weekend retreat, renewal and leadership-training program offered by a team of lay people assisted by clergy spiritual directors. It runs from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon. |
| Diocesan Convention Deputies (Don Rohr) |
| The Diocese of Albany meets in Convention each June at the Camp of the Woods in Speculator, NY. Calvary Church is allowed to send 3 deputies to participate in this important council of the Church. These deputies are elected by the Vestry at its April meeting. |
