Youth of Calvary

The purpose of EYC (“Episcopal Young Church,” the youth group of Calvary Episcopal Church) is to minister to 6^th through 12^th graders in Calvary Church and its surrounding community through positive Christian relationships and a variety of spiritual, social and service activities. Through these relationships and activities we hope to nurture the students’ faith, give them experiences of God’s presence, and draw others into relationships with God.
	EYC is directed by a collaborative leadership team of the youth pastor, adult advisors, and peer-elected student officers. Most of our activities are open to 6^th-12^th graders, but we also try to have some activities for 6^th-8^th graders only and for 9^th-12^th graders only. In addition to EYC, the youth ministry of Calvary Church includes Sunday School for grades 6-8 and 9-12, and confirmation preparation

EYC is a place to have fun, a place to belong, and a place to grow in God and share God with others.
