Calvary's 1st Annual Blessing of the Animals At the ceremony, there were 14 dogs, 2 hermit crabs, and many photos of pets who could not make the blessing. Each animal had an individual blessing and received a St. Francis of Assisi medal. |

Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures. You inspired St. Francis to call all animals his brothers and sisters.  We ask you to bless these animals.. By the power of your love, enable it to live according to your plan. Amen. |
